The problem
Small business websites want an AI chat assistant, but general-purpose chatbots drift off-topic and subscriptions add up.
What I did
I built a chat window for WordPress that learns from the site’s own posts, pages and WooCommerce products, and answers visitors in real time.
- The owner chooses the AI provider: Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Groq, Mistral, xAI, a self-hosted Ollama server, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
- It stays on topic. It answers from the site’s content and never turns into a free general-purpose AI.
- The owner controls the cost. They bring their own AI key and set their own limits.
- Chats stay on the owner’s website.
The result
The IAMK Digital Site Chat Assistant is published free on WordPress.org, where any WordPress site owner can install it.
A paid Pro version is on sale from IAMK Digital. It adds lead capture with email and webhook alerts, WhatsApp handoff, business hours the bot understands, quick replies, extra chat themes, CSV export of logs and leads, and a premium model list.
